Can Alcohol Help Men Last Longer In Bed?

Yes -but relying too heavily on any substance (alcohol included) is not ideal if long-term success is what you’re after; this article will provide insight into using appropriate amounts instead of overdoing it.

Why You Shouldn’t Rely On Alcohol?

While it’s tempting to rely on alcohol as the only solution to lasting longer in bed, this is not a sustainably effective approach. Overdoing it can have many undesirable consequences over time; physical and mental health-related issues stemming from too much drinking increase one’s risk of erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation.

Until you address any underlying causes for your inability to last long enough you will be unable to manage symptoms without relying heavily on substances like alcohol.

Why Does Alcohol Help Men Last Longer?

There are several reasons why some men use moderate doses of alcoholic beverages prior to engaging in intercourse with their partners:

  1. Alcohol boosts confidence: Self-doubt and fear can be a major factor that contributes to premature ejaculation. I few drinks can lead to you feeling a higher levels of trust which then leads men to feel more comfortable while you’re performing in the bedroom with your partner.
  2. Alcohol relaxes muscles: When you consume appropriate doses of hard liquor before intimate activities, your body will generally become less tense due to the effects on GABA receptors – which helps inhibit excitatory nervous system activity associated with arousal and orgasm reflexes (the physical trigger response). This looseness can help delay ejaculations.
  3. Alcohol can reduce “worst case scenario” thoughts: Performance anxiety can be a major impediment when it comes to lasting longer in bed. Alcohol, however, has the capacity to decrease one’s fear of failure/ embarrassing situations; this could ultimately lead men to feel less pressure and therefore allow them more time before the ejaculation reflexes take over and starts dictating terms.

5 Types Of Alcohol That Can Help You Last Longer

When used moderately these types of drinks are known for their ability to improve sexual experiences as well as prolong intercourse duration:

  1. Beer: Light lagers or ales may help you last slightly longer if taken prior to engaging in intimate activities with your partner – they have lesser alcohol content than other styles so you won’t feel overwhelmed too quickly! The lighter flavor profile also makes them easier to drink without feeling overly drunk afterward.
  2. Whiskey: The higher alcohol content in whiskeys can potentially help men last longer if taken prior to engaging in activity with their partner – but take caution as it’s easy to overdo the consumption of this type of liquor while still being able to feel the effects!
  3. Vodka: A clear spirit like vodka is a popular choice amongst those looking for an enjoyable yet controlled buzz that doesn’t overpower any other flavors or aromas; its mild taste also makes it ideal for mixing into cocktails which could be helpful when trying not to drink too much at once and prolonging intercourse duration accordingly!
  4. Gin: This hard liquor has been around since the 17th century, making it one of oldest alcoholic beverages known today; gin contains juniper berries which have been known to have calming effects on the body – perfect for those looking to relax pre-romp and last longer!
  5. Rum: The sweet, caramel flavor of rum makes it an ideal choice when trying not to get too drunk before intercourse; light rums can help men feel relaxed but still stay clear-headed enough in order prolong their endurance levels during a sexual performance with minimal risk side effects due its lower alcohol content compared other types liquor available today.

What’s The Single Best Drink?

It really depends on individual preference but generally speaking, whiskey is probably one of the best liquors out there if your goal is lasting long while having fun simultaneously (just make sure you don’t overdo consumption).

Its higher ABV allows people who want more “oomph” from their drinks but still retain clear head control as far as not becoming too drunk prior to engaging in intimate activities.

How Does Alcohol Numb Physical Sensations?

One of the main benefits of consuming alcohol is that it numbs physical sensations – this can be incredibly helpful when trying to last longer during sexual activity since there won’t be any over-stimulation leading premature ejaculation or failure maintain an erection.

This doesn’t mean, however, that you should drink large amounts; excessive consumption could lead to an inability to perform at all due to drunkenness which defeats the purpose entirely

To avoid problems like these try drinking light liquor if you must before starting your night out and always stay aware of how much has been consumed throughout the evening so don’t exceed recommended limits (this varies person by person).

Problems With Relying On Alcohol To Last Longer

Overreliance on any substance (alcohol included) will inevitably result in negative side effects; drinking too much prior to intercourse has been known to reduce blood flow into male genitals – leading to erectile dysfunction as well as premature ejaculation while increasing the risk of adverse health issues like liver damage or heart disease down the line!

The real problem is that when you over-rely on alcohol when you go back to sex without out it becomes even harder to last. This also happens when guys resort to using premature ejaculation sprays and then try to return to normal sex.

How To Stop Premature Ejaculation Without Needing Alcohol

If you’re looking for solutions lasting longer in bed without necessarily relying on alcohol, there are many options available to help individuals achieve desired results including:

  1. Kegel exercises: This type of exercise specifically target pelvic floor muscles and helps increase control over orgasm reflexes. Try doing a few reps every day but make sure to read my Kegels exercises guide first because Kegels can have the opposite effect when overdone.
  2. Pelvic thrusts (aka Sexercises): These movements focus more directly on improving male endurance during intimate activities – simply thrust up and down at varying speeds while engaging with a partner or alone during masturbation. This will help strengthen the muscles around your pelvic area as well as allow you to last longer overall during sex.
  3. Mental Exercises: While not always easy, learning how to train one’s mind can be equally important when it comes to lasting long enough in bed. By becoming aware of our thoughts we can try to control them before they manifest into physical ejaculatory reflexes that cause climaxing too soon due to performance anxiety-related issues like self-doubt, fear, and embarrassment.
  4. Stress reduction techniques: These methods help reduce levels of tension which could lead to increased endurance if done prior to engaging sexually; some examples would include deep breathing exercises and meditative techniques.

Training Guide To Last Longer

If you’re looking for a step-by-step guide on how to effectively train yourself to last longer in bed, here are a few tips that may help

  1. Start with masturbation exercises: By practicing self-pleasure and controlling techniques regularly (known as Edging), men can gradually increase their endurance levels during these sessions so they don’t have to worry about ejaculating prematurely when engaging sexually with their partner. This is an especially helpful technique for those who suffer from performance anxiety-related issues as it helps build confidence when confronted with similar scenarios/stimuli later down line.
  2. Increase overall physical fitness level: Regular exercise has been known to improve sexual stamina due to increased circulation throughout the body which makes this another great way to train yourself to last longer during intercourse. Try jogging, swimming, or even yoga as these are all excellent forms of exercise that could help you reap benefits when it comes to having better endurance levels in bed!
  3. Practice controlled breathing Techniques: This technique may take some getting used to but can be incredibly helpful to those suffering from premature ejaculations; by learning how to control your breathing rate and focusing on exhaling more than inhaling (which is a natural reflex), men will find themselves able delay their orgasm reflexes for extended periods time, allowing increased enjoyment overall experience with minimal effort needed.
  4. Communicate openly with your partner: Remember to communicate effectively both before and after sexual activities to ensure there’s no confusion about expectations being placed on each other; this open-mindedness often leads to improved performance in the bedroom due to reduced stress/shame associated with not feeling “good enough” during intimate moments.

Last Drinks

With that being said – remember to use moderation when consuming liquor prior to sexual activities as over-indulgence could lead to adverse health consequences down line.
